Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11: 28 - 30.
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted,
and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18: 2 - 3.
Jesus wants us to trust Him like a little child does.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14: 6.
"I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." John 6: 35.
Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.
"I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." John 10: 11.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3: 16 - 17.
We cannot save ourselves. Jesus died for us so that we can live.

Isn't there a bunch of ways to get to God? Doesn't everyone make it?
Sorry, but the answer is no.
A lot of people believe that there are many ways to God, but the bible is very clear. There is only one way to God and that is through Jesus1. Satan has tried very hard to convince you otherwise, but it's a lie2.
Think about it from God's perspective. When He created Adam and Eve, He created them perfectly without sin3. There was perfect communication with God...
And then the worst possible thing happened. They disobeyed God's command4 and the punishment was death5.
Of course, they didn't die straight away, but they regretted their actions and did eventually die. But this was not God's original plan for us.
However, God now had a problem. He can't be in the presence of sin6, so He can't be with His children. He can't let us live forever in sin because that would be incredibly cruel. Adam and Eve passed on their sinful nature to their children and eventually to everyone alive today.
God's solution was that someone had to pay the price for the sins of everyone7. That person was Jesus8.
The bible says that Jesus was with God from the beginning9. He was the only one that could pay the price. And it was a terrible price He had to pay...
The price? He was crucified10, but was without sin11.
He now carries the scars on His body12 because He loves us and doesn't want anyone to be lost13. Did you get that? It's not God's will for you to be lost!
However, the choice is ours. We can accept the free gift of God14 made possible by the sacrifice of His Son, but the price is that we must submit to God and allow Him to change us.
Or, we can continue to sin and be forever apart from God in death15.
That's why there is only one way to God... by accepting the sacrifice of Jesus and acknowledging that Jesus paid the price for our sins. The second part of that is that we must submit to God and allow Him to lead us.
There are many other figures that are worshipped around the world, but none of them paid the price for your sins and God will not accept a counterfeit. It is offensive to God to accept these false gods because He has already paid the price for your sin with the life of His only Son.
Will you accept the magnificent free gift of God now while there is still time? Jesus died for your sins so that you can be with God. Will you choose Him?

"For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee." Isaiah 54:10.
We should not think of God as a judge only and forget that He is our loving Father. This does us great harm because our spiritual life is molded by our conception of God's character.
God is our Heavenly Father who "so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3: 16. It is such a privilege that God has made it possible for us to approach Him and call him Father!
No parent could ever plead more earnestly with a wayward child than how God pleads with us. There has never been anyone who has plead with such tender love, kindness and mercy.
God has written His promises in the bible, which makes them a pledge. The mountains shall depart and the hills will be removed, but His kindness will never leave His people, neither shall His promise of peace be removed. His voice is recorded in Jeremiah 31:3 "I have loved thee with an everlasting love" and in Isaiah 54:8 "With everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee".
How amazing is God's love that He reaches out to us to remove all doubt, questioning, fear and weakness when we reach out to Him. He takes hold of our trembling hand and helps us to trust Him with His amazing promises.
He has made a binding agreement with us upon condition of our obedience, and He meets us where we are in our understanding of things. We think that any pledge or promise from someone else needs a guarantee. However, God has met our fears and has confirmed His promise with an oath: "Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath". Hebrews 6: 17.
What more can God do to strengthen our faith in His promises?
